The steepest price drop was posted at the region that needed it the most- California, which is down 1.2 cents to $2.287 per gallon. California remains the most expensive region to fill up. The Gulf Coast posted the largest price gain, up 0.5 cents to $2.053. Despite this, the Gulf Coast remains the cheapest region for diesel.
