The Gulf Coast region saw a 9.6-cent surge to $2.213, marking the steepest increase. Prices in the Rocky Mountain region were the most stable, as well as the lowest, as prices rose 1.2 cents to $2.191. California remains the most expensive region in which to fill up at $2.421 on a 5.4-cent increase.
