Continued strong deliveries for Volvo Trucks

Deliveries from Volvo Trucks increased by 20% from January to July 2005. In total, 62,141 trucks were delivered, compared with 51,977 vehicles in the same period last year.

Deliveries from Volvo Trucks increased by 20% from January to July 2005. In total, 62,141 trucks were delivered, compared with 51,977 vehicles in the same period last year.

The demand for heavy trucks remained stable on the European markets, amounting to 25,403 vehicles (24,776), an increase of 3%.

The positive delivery trend in North America was maintained and 18,023 trucks (13,062) were delivered during this period, corresponding to an increase of 38%.

In South America, deliveries totalled 4,807 vehicles (4,198), an increased of 15%. On the Asian markets, including the Middle East, an increase of 49% was noted, with a total of 12,071 trucks (8,115).
