Hutchens Industries has hired Jim Downey as its new Southeast Territory sales manager, covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He previously worked as a district sales manager for Hayes Lemmerz International.

Mark Eaton joins W & B Service Co as a regional sales manager. He worked for Carrier Transicold most recently as director of service truck/trailer — Americas.

John Hinesley, ArvinMeritor's Western Area director — North American field operations for commercial vehicle systems, has been named president of the national board of directors of SkillsUSA, whose members support developing a highly skilled workforce through public career and technical education.

Kemlite Co Inc announces the retirement of Richard W Schueller, president of the Crane Composites Group and Kemlite, and the appointment of Daniel L Colbert as Kemlite president, Kemlite. Schueller, who retired July 1, has been president of Kemlite since 1990. Colbert served previously with Sears Roebuck as vice-president-continuous improvement.

Mark Slingluff has been promoted to the newly created position of director of marketing communications for Hendrickson and will continue to be based in Canton OH. He was elevated from communications manager of the trailer division.

Karmak has named Jerry Osborn the new director of INFO 5 Operations, where he will oversee Karmak's office in Springfield MO. Most recently, he served as a design architect for the firm's ProfitMaster product. Tom Neitz has joined Karmak as a regional manager for the eastern territory. His most recent positions were with Autocar Trucks of Indiana and Western Star Trucks. Karmak has hired Greg Holcomb as manager of consulting. He returns to the firm after leaving in 2002 to take a position with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Richard Lacasse has joined the field sales team of Holland Canada, a subsidiary of The Holland Group Inc, as sales and service representative for Quebec, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland. His most recent assignment was as parts and service manager for Trailmobile's Montreal branch.
