The Greater Memphis Association for Quality (GMAQ) has awarded Dana Corp's Chelsea Power Take-Off (PTO) facility in Olive Branch MS with the Pyramid of Excellence Award and the Level III Quality Leadership award.
A non-profit association, GMAQ promotes performance excellence in the workplace through a self-assessment process based on the Malcolm Baldrige Award Criteria for Excellence.
Chelsea PTO also was recognized recently in Jackson MS, where the company was awarded The Excellence Award for the second time. This award goes to organizations that have demonstrated, through commitment to and practice of quality principles, achievement in building sound processes and results-oriented measurement systems.
