Six truck equipment distributors qualified for membership in the Knapheide 1848 Club for the first time, an honor for distributors who in 2012 sold as many Knapheide products and the number of years Knapheide has been in business. The company has been manufacturing transportation equipment (beginning with covered wagons) since 1848. Receiving their 1848 Club plaques at a special dinner held during are Jeff Matter, Western Truck Body Mfg; Brian Levan, Levan Machine & Truck Equipment; Adam Keane, Allied Body Works, Gary Leasure, Ace Truck Body; and Buzz Tabone, Zoresco Equipment Company. Not pictured: Utility Truck & Equipment Company of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
