ArvinMeritor will supply International with parts

International Truck and Engine Corp has selected ArvinMeritor's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) business group to supply front axles, rear axles, air brakes, and automatic slack adjusters as standard databook position for the International 9000i-Series (linehaul) tractors and International 5000i-Series (vocational) vehicles.

The partnership supplies International facilities with front and rear axles, brakes, hubs and drums, suspensions, wheel-speed sensors, and shock absorbers. International plants in Garland TX and Chatham, Ontario, receive individual axles and brakes from ArvinMeritor's Asheville NC and Tilbury, Ontario, plants in the arrangement.
