Wabash National says restructuring finished

Wabash National Corp has completed its divestiture of its European operations, the final step in a restructuring plan designed to return the trailer manufacturer to profitability.

The divestiture involved the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Europaische Trailerzug Beteiligungsgessellschaft mbH (ETZ). This subsidiary is the majority shareholder of Bayerische Trailerzug Gesselschaft fur Bimodalen Guterverkehr mbH (BTZ), a European RoadRailer operation based in Munich, Germany.

Charges associated with this divestiture have been previously recorded in the company's quarter ended Dec 31, 2000.
