Schneider Logistics, Inc., an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, today announced it has received the 2006 Best Third-Party Provider Award from the Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Solutions (VICS) Association. Schneider was honored for the creation and implementation of its proprietary Sumit GlobalView supply chain technology platform.
The VICS Collaborative Commerce Achievement Awards honor outstanding creative thinking and leadership in conjunction with VICS and GS1 U.S. standards utilization to develop effective supply chain partnerships. This is the second time Schneider National has been recognized by VICS for excellence in the industry.

Schneider received the award this year for the creation and implementation of Sumit GlobalView Integration Services Platform which integrates information from a broad network of supply chain technology solutions, vendors and clients and presents the data to end users in the most efficient way possible. Schneider collaborated with AGI Worldwide Inc., a leading global provider of supply chain execution solutions and services, to develop Sumit GlobalView. The tracking system is secure, easy to use and highly interactive with customized features specific to each client's unique needs.
