Strippit/LVD finishes in-house training center

Strippit/LVD has completed construction of a new in-house demonstration and training center at its Akron NY headquarters. The 6,000-square-foot facility showcases the firm's punching, bending, and laser cutting equipment and includes a classroom training area, meeting rooms, and visitor greeting area.

The new center provides Strippit/LVD with a more expansive demonstration area and facilitates access to the company's most advanced fabrication equipment. Machinery on display at the demonstration center includes a high-performance Global 30-ton CNC turret punch press with autoload system, ST Series 20-ton CNC turret punch press, PPEB 90-ton eight-axis precision press brake with Easy-Form Laser adaptive bending system, SP Series press brake, and guillotine shear. Primary machinery models will be available for demonstrations that can be scheduled through a Strippit/LVD sales representative.

Complementing the machinery demonstration area is a classroom for training on the use of Strippit/LVD's CADMAN punching, bending, and laser cutting software. The classroom is equipped with modern teaching tools.

This center will also be used for open house events and technical seminars.
