ProAir LLC has broken ground on a six-acre tract of land in Elkhart IN for construction of a new building that will house the company's installation operations.

This new facility, going up next to ProAir's headquarters and manufacturing facility on County Road 6, will expand the company's capacity to 52,000 square feet under roof. The installation center will contain eight large service bays equipped with hoists. The existing site's 14 employees will be transferred to the new location, and the company may add other technicians.

The project is overseen by Bristol IN-based American Classic Steel Construction.

Dennis Mitchell, president of ProAir, said the company had outgrown its current location in Elkhart, where it was leasing an older building.
