Diamatrix, Inc announced the acquisition of John Evans Manufacturing Company of Sumter, South Carolina. Diamatrix is the owner of transportation equipment manufacturing and parts sales companies including Strick Trailers, a 67-year-old manufacturer of dry freight vans, and Cheetah Chassis, the largest manufacturer of intermodal container chassis in the United States. John Evans is a manufacturer of specialized equipment, including log trailers and similar products for the construction and forest product industries.

In addition, we believe that our companies can learn from John Evans ways to approach the smaller orders of specialized products which more and more of our customers want.”
