“BU” denotes Base USA, a product specifically designed to increase Hyva's share of the telescopic cylinder aftermarket across the United States and Canada. The new BU series offer a base design similar to common cylinders seen in the North American market, allowing drop-in replacement when removing a failed competitive unit. No adjustment of chassis and body mounting locations is required to fit the cylinder.
