Diesel price highest in over a year

The cost of diesel increased 0.6 cents this week to a national average of $1.648 – the highest price since March 24, 2003.

The cost of diesel increased 0.6 cents this week to a national average of $1.648 – the highest price since March 24, 2003.

Prices actually declined by a fraction of a cent in New England, the Central Atlantic and the Midwest. California got hammered with a 6.8-cent increase, taking its nation-leading price to $1.885 a gallon. The Gulf Coast continued to have the lowest price ($1.586).
