The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) has named Kathleen Schmatz to the newly created position of executive vice-president, effective Jan 2, 2002. She is vice-president and group publisher of Babcox in Akron OH.
Paul Bomgardner has joined the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) staff as director of administration, succeeding Larry Stern. Bomgardner has been active in the CVSA for more than 20 years.
