Stairs make climbing on trailers easy

Wibert Hinkle Jr, CEO of Ten-Four Stairs Inc of Gary, Indiana, shows a bi-metal strip that allows him to install aluminum stairwells on steel trailers. Ten-Four Stairs can be manufactured of either steel or aluminum, but the new capability makes it possible to install lightweight aluminum steps between steel frame rails. The safety stairs can be mounted on platforms, vans, and reefers.
