Walker Group acquires Garsite/Progress

Walker Group Holdings LLC, based in New Lisbon WI, has acquired Kansas City KS-based Garsite/Progress LLC and Progress Tank, headquartered in Arthur IL.

Garsite manufactures specialized aviation refueler trucks and hydrant carts. Progress Tank is a manufacturer of vacuum and refined fuel tanks constructed of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. In addition to the Kansas City and Arthur facilities, Garsite has a refueler refurbishment and sales operation in Findlay OH.

Walker announced earlier in June that it had acquired Brenner Tank LLC. Walker said the operating management teams at Progress/Garsite and Brenner will remain in place. In addition, the Brenner, Progress, and Garsite brand names and technologies will continue to be supported in the marketplace.
