Hernon gets ISO-certified

Hernon Manufacturing's quality management system has achieved certification to the internationally recognized ISO-9001:2000 quality standard. NSF International Strategic Registrations Ltd confirmed the registration Dec 7, 2003. Since 1999, Hernon's facility in Sanford FL had been registered to the ISO-9002:1994 standard.

The international standard was updated and restructured in December 2000, shifting from an “element-driven” to a “process-driven” approach to quality. The updated standard also increased emphasis on systems being orientated towards customer satisfaction and documented continual improvement.
