Highway Products Inc has moved to a new 50,000-square-foot facility in White City OR and has been able to increase production on toolboxes, cab guards, aluminum flatbeds, and Highwayman RV tow bodies.
The new facility is two miles from the old location and situated on 8½ acres which allows lots of room for future expansions. Additional space was needed to keep up with demand. Before the move, lead times ranged from three to six weeks. Now they have been reduced to one to two weeks. Highway Products also has been able to keep better inventory on hand to fill orders immediately.
Future plans for the facility include purchasing additional equipment to increase production and concentrating on research and development of new products. Another building at the existing location may also be added to separate the truck body department from other manufacturing areas.
