Cambridge University and the Cambridge Vehicle Dynamics Consortium announce a four-day event April 23-26, 2007, focused on the dynamics of heavy vehicles. The event will include a definitive UMTRI course on heavy-truck dynamics, taught by Chris Winkler and Bob Ervin of UMTRI, and Dick Radlinski of LINKL-Radlinski brake consultants. There will also be demonstrations of the CVDC's computer-controlled experimental vehicle, hardware and software demonstrations, and hands-on computer simulation exercises.

Besides engineers involved in vehicle dynamics, this event is intended for persons engaged in technical activities such as truck design, truck equipment selection, fleet safety operations, accident reconstruction, development of truck safety standards, and highway/truck interactions.
