Meritor Inc has appointed Curt Wormington director of sales for its North American Trailer Products business. He succeeds Walt Sherbourne, who has rejoined Meritor's Aftermarket business. Wormington recently served as a distribution sales and business unit manager, after running his own distribution company for 10 years.
Hutchens Industries announces the promotion of Taylor Hutchens to its sales team as regional manager for these states: Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. He has worked at Hutchens for more than a year in various manufacturing-related positions.
Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products named Scott Kerns vice-president and general manager, commercial vehicle wheels, Europe, Japan, and South Africa, and he will be based in Hungary. Kerns was previously vice-president and general manager, Alcoa transportation products. Merrick Murphy was named vice-president and general manager, commercial vehicle wheels, Americas and Pacific Rim, and he will be based in the Independence OH office. Previously, he served as vice-president of sales, commercial vehicle wheels, Americas. Victor Marquez will expand his role from vice-president and general manager, forged specialty wheels to vice-president and general manager, forged specialty wheels and transportation products.
Phillips Industries has added Randy Long, Mathew Sayre, and Nick Tosie as new territory sales managers and promoted John Nugent to western regional sales manager. Long is now territory sales manager covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. He has held management and sales positions with WLS Lighting, Intra-Tech/Midtronics, and Hendrickson. Sayre, who will cover South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois for Phillips, most recently served with Madison Truck Sales as parts manager and purchaser. Tosie will cover Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska for Phillips. He most recently was aftermarket account manager for Stewart and Stevenson in Dallas TX. Nugent previously was Phillips' territory sales manager covering the southern United States.
Blair Larson has joined Vanair Manufacturing as regional sales manager for the Western Region. With more than 10 years of corporate experience, Larson previously held positions at Sullair and Fastenal. Steve Long has joined Vanair as a service technician. He has served with Advanced Technology Services and Sullair.
Aero Industries has named Jeff Boyd as flatbed products manager, a new position at the company. Previously national account manager for the Conestoga 2, Boyd has more than 12 years of experience working with Aero.
Bob Albano has joined Webb Wheel Products OEM Business Unit as account executive. He came to the company from Terenine Technology Solutions, where he helped grow its transportation sector business.
Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of Terex Corporation, announced that Paul Waller has been appointed vice-president of sales for the central region. He has been with Terex AWP for three years as a key member of the sales team.
