The American Welding Society (AWS) and Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) have changed the 2002 show dates of their co-located show under the flagship name MAX International (Manufacturing Applications Expo International), to March 4 — 7. The move comes after the show location, Chicago IL's McCormick Place, presented MAX International's co-sponsors with dates in March consistent with their historical trade show schedules. The days of the show also have been adjusted to Monday through Thursday.

MAX International is an annual co-located event consisting of the AWS Welding Show and PMA Metalform ExpoSium. These shows will be co-located in the South Hall of McCormick Place.
