Wabash National Corp has apointed David G Burdakin to its board of directors. He has been president of HON Co, a manufacturer of business furniture systems, since August 1999 and also served as executive vice-president of HON Industries since February 2001.

Astoria Industries has hired Danny Holmes as outside salesperson. Formerly with ALLTEL Communications as corporate fleet manager, he is based in Little Rock AR. Shane Chesmore has been added as a mechanical engineer, and Scott Watson recently joined Astoria as an inside salesperson.
