Michelin Retread Technologies (Canada) Inc has added Canadian Treads as its fifth MRT franchise in Canada. Through its Edmonton facility, Canadian Treads will begin operations of a Michelin Pre-Mold retread plant before the end of 2004. This latest addition expands the existing MRT North American network.
Most recently, MRT expanded its Covington GA manufacturing facility to meet continued demand. It also added Evansville IN-based Raben Tire and Hungerford TX-based Strouhal Tire Inc to its list of retread franchises. There are now more than 230 points of sale in North America for Michelin retreads.
