Dexter Axle, a manufacturer of light- to medium-duty trailer axles in North America, has completed the acquisition of L E Technologies.

Through its subsidiaries — Leland Engineering, AMFAB, and Venture Technologies — L E Technologies manufactures recreational vehicle frames, fabricated metal components, and provides specialty coating services. The company employs about 500 people in its Indiana and Michigan facilities.

With eight manufacturing locations and more than 1,500 employees, Dexter Axle is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tomkins, a global engineering and manufacturing group with market and technical leadership across three business areas: industrial and automotive, air systems components, and engineered and construction products.
