Registration is now open for The Work Truck Show 2011, an event designed to bring truck and equipment manufacturers, distributors and upfitters together with their customers.
Visitors can register online at www.ntea.com. This year’s event is expected to contain 500,000 square feet of the newest truck chassis, bodies, equipment and components and will offer more than 40 training sessions.
Two special sessions are designed specifically for distributors and upfitters: “What Your Customers Really Want” and “How to Reduce Comebacks, Eliminate Rework & Increase Customer Satisfaction.”
“What Your Customers Really Want” presents new NTEA research into fleet customer and truck dealer attitudes to determine what businesses need to stay competitive. A special customer panel helps explain how businesses can work together with their customers to lower costs, increase efficiency and build long-term loyalty. The session is presented by Ryan Matthews, founder and CEO, Black Monk Consulting (Eastpointe, MI) and author of best-selling business books including The Myth of Excellence: Why Great Companies Never Try to Be the Best at Everything.
“How to Reduce Comebacks, Eliminate Rework & Increase Customer Satisfaction” helps businesspeople learn to develop an effective quality control process to detect/prevent defects and resolve customer complaints in order to improve customer retention and profitability. Led by experts from the Purdue University Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the session walks attendees through the essential management processes needed to implement a customer-focused quality control system. Session participants will leave with a better understanding of how a quality control and feedback process can lead to increased profitability.
Both Special Sessions take place on Monday, March 7, from 9:00am-12:00pm. A ticket is required to attend either session.
Additional educational conference sessions designed for manufacturers, distributors and upfitters include: “What Is the Future Economic Landscape for the Work Truck Industry?” “Specification and Towing Optimization for Work Trucks,” “Maximizing ROI from Existing Customers,” “R.L. Polk Commercial Vehicle Trends & Industry Forecast,” and “Steering Clear of Costly Truck Frame Modification Errors.”
