Wheel-engaging beam simplifies lifting

Automotive Lifts & Machinery Corp (ALM) offers a wheel-engaging beam that allows vehicles with individual axle weights up to 36,000 pounds to be driven onto the beam and then lifted. This eliminates the requirement for removal of components that restrict access to the lifting wheel.

Wheel-engaging beams can be used at the front or rear of a vehicle or at both ends simultaneously. The WE-18 has a lifting capacity of 72,000 pounds per set of four columns, is electrohydraulically driven and may be expanded to six-, eight-, 10-, or 12-column sets. The WE-18 is an alternative to in-ground or surface-mounted drive-on lifts with comparable lifting capacities and can be moved from one bay to another as desired.
