XL Specialized Trailers Inc announced that Lester Evans has joined the organization as market development manager-heavy haul/specialized products. With more than 27 years of experience in the specialty trailer industry, he worked most recently as a product manager for Kalyn Siebert.

E-Z Pack Manufacturing LLC has appointed Gordon Shaw to its board of directors. The former president of Marathon Equipment Company, he joins Ted Flood and Fred Leach on the E-Z Pack board. Shaw served three terms as chairman of the Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC), two terms on its board of governors, and is currently chairman of the board of trustees of the Environmental Industry Associations (EIA). He was named WASTEC Member of the Year in 2003, and in 2006 was inducted into the EIA Hall of Fame.

Richard Haberkamp has been named to fill the newly established role of Palfinger North America Group (PNAG) strategic buyer. He will be based at Omaha Standard Palfinger facilities in Council Bluffs IA. He previously served in supply chain and operations management with leading truck equipment and construction equipment industry manufacturers. James Hannah has been named group marketing and research manager for the Palfinger North America Group. He joined Palfinger fours years ago in the Corporate Development department, where he focused on acquisitions and strategic projects. Jeff Black is the new Canadian national sales manager for Palfinger North America, responsible for all Canadian crane, forklift, and Palfinger American Roll-off dealers, as well as additional support for key account sales in Canada. He has been with Palfinger North America since August 1995 and will continue to be based at Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Supreme Industries Inc has named Bob Besse vice-president of sales and marketing at its subsidiary, Supreme Corporation, effective immediately. He replaces Mark Beer, who has been named to the newly created position of director of strategic accounts. Besse, a 20-year sales and marketing veteran, most recently served as the company's national fleet sales manager.
