Alcoa Wheel Products achieved a European record when the Székesfehérvár, Hungary, plant produced its four-millionth forging in October.

This achievement reflects Alcoa Wheel Products' position as the largest forged aluminum wheel supplier in Europe and the demand for its products in the region and worldwide. Customers include European truck manufacturers Scania, Volvo, Renault, DaimlerChrysler, MAN, DAF, Iveco, and European trailer manufacturers such as Feldbinder, Spitzer, Benalu, Schmitz, and Krone.

Alcoa sold Europe's first forged aluminum wheel in 1981. The Alcoa Székesfehérvár, Hungary, plant opened in 1997. Trucks and trailer original equipment manufacturers, dealers, and aftermarket customers in Europe, Australia, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, and other nations are now served from the Hungarian plant and the Belgian warehouse/service center.
