Aero Industries Inc moved facilities in January and began producing its tarping systems and trailer accessories from a newly constructed Indianapolis IN operations center. With more than 140,000 square feet of space, the building will serve as corporate headquarters for the company with operations in three states, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The Indianapolis operations center streamlines Aero Industries by bringing together manufacturing, administrative, and warehousing functions under one roof. Since 1944, when Paul Tuerk founded Aero Canvas Products, growth had forced the company to work from several different facilities. In 1993, company executives began studying the feasibility of a single site. It soon became clear that constructing a new building would add efficiency and much-needed capacity to the business.

Construction began on Aero Industries headquarters and operations center in July 2004. Manufacturing operations moved into the facility in late December 2004. Administrative and executive staff moved into the offices Jan 21, 2005.
