The Reading Group, LLC, which owns Reading Truck Body, announced that Craig Bonham has been promoted to Vice President of New Business Development and Eric McNally to Vice President of Sales.
Effective immediately, both will report to the company’s President and CEO, Brian Nadel.
“Over the past two years, The Reading Group has enjoyed exceptional growth as a result of two drivers: existing business relationships and new strategic opportunities,” said Nadel. “Moving forward, both will remain crucial in sustaining our momentum, which is what drove our decision to expand our leadership team. By elevating and separating these roles, Craig and Eric will be able to focus their efforts and continue delivering value to both our company and our customers.”
Bonham has more than 30 years of experience in both OEM and truck body sales, and has been with Reading since 1998, holding roles in sales, new business development and training. Most recently, he was Reading’s Vice President of Sales. In his new position, he will lead efforts to drive new business.
“Craig is a creative thinker and idea generator,” said Nadel. “The depth of knowledge and management experience he has in our industry, along with his high energy personality, makes him an ideal candidate to lead this newly-created position. Our marketing team will report to Craig to ensure our company face is aligned with our business objectives. Also, he will work closely with Engineering and be the catalyst for Operations to provide direction and prioritization of new products.”
McNally has been with Reading since 2005, with his most recent role as Director of National Accounts. His experience spans over 23 years in both truck equipment operations and fleet sales management. Going forward, Distribution Sales, Customer Service and National Account Sales will report to McNally. Reading is actively recruiting a replacement for the position of Director of National Accounts. In the interim, the national accounts team will continue to report to McNally until his replacement is named.
“During Eric’s tenure as Director of National Accounts, he reignited our fleet sales team, which resulted in unprecedented growth,” said Nadel. “I am confident that he will continue to drive our overall sales organization to higher levels of performance and customer satisfaction.”
