Warn Industries has released a winch with more pulling capacity than any in the company's 60-year history. The new Series 30XL Hydraulic has a 30,000-lb (13,608-kg) capacity and is designed for use on trailers, rollback carriers, and other heavy-duty applications.

This new winch is made from cast iron for incredible strength and outstanding protection against the elements. It has a high-performance 12.0-cubic-inch (197-cubic-centimeter) hydraulic motor for optimum power, and a two-stage planetary geartrain for smooth, reliable, maintenance-free operation — that means no messy, high-maintenance oil baths such as worm-gear winches require.

The Series 30XL can hold up to 142 feet of 5/8" (43 meters of 16 mm) wire rope, features a spring-applied disc brake that holds the full rated load, and a cable tension roller to keep the rope evenly spooled on the drum.

This winch is available in short- and long-drum versions with air or manual clutch options. The Series 30XL also meets SAE J706 and CE specifications.
