Travis has unveiled its newest model, The Vertex. The name is formed from combining “VERT” for vertical, and “EX” for extruded aluminum walls. It is the latest evolution of the smooth-sided, extruded aluminum, dual-walled trailer.

The aerodynamic extruded walls add strength by using harder, longer-wearing 6061-T6 aluminum, and create more carrying capacity by having a thinner wall profile.

Travis already has a patented extruded trailer model called The Wave, which has been in production since 2002. The Vertex differs from The Wave by featuring vertical wall panels, as opposed to full length horizontal extrusions on The Wave. Each trailer has its own distinctive look and cosmetic appeal.

The Vertex is available in: end dumps, (including frameless, quarter-frame, and frame-type), transfer trailers, including live floors and tipper trailers, and dump bodies.
