Polar Tank Trailer has named Denis Grossen as its new vice president of engineering.

Polar Tank Trailer has named Denis Grossen as its new vice president of engineering.

“Denis brings a wealth of engineering knowledge and global experience,” said Frank Lukacs, president of Polar Tank Trailer. “His work experience with several industry-leading companies, helping them develop products and processes to streamline manufacturing has been impressive. We’re excited that he’s joining the Polar team.”

Grossen joins Polar after serving as senior director of engineering for Force Protection Industries, a manufacturer of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. Prior to that, he worked as director of engineering at Union City Body Company.

His international experience includes work as a development engineer for BMW in South Africa, and various engineering and management positions with bus manufacturers. His technical education was at the famed Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich.

“Polar is known for the innovation in its tankers and a quality build,” said Lukacs. “Denis will support Polar’s engineering efforts, while bringing his experience to support world-class tankers for our customers.”
