Innovative Products of America has launched the #4105 SMART MUTT X series for testing five of the most common trailer types with one unit. Model #4105 supersedes IPA’s #9004A SMART MUTT with new features and capabilities.
"The SMART MUTT X is designed for our customers who work on a range of trailers utilizing semi, RV, utility, boat and horse trailer-type connections," said Ian Vinci, president of IPA. "The SMART MUTT X is microprocessor controlled and can be electronically switched to different trailer-type modes. Each mode optimizes system programming by pin type to simplify and speed up inspections for our customers."
New features include:
- a larger processor for future expandability,
- 7-way round and 7-way flat connections,
- and a 12-button remote specifically designed for the SMART MUTT X series.
IPA customers who already utilize the #9004A and #9004M SMART MUTT models “will be thrilled” with the design and capabilities, according to the company.
