New partnership bringing line of specialized trailers to towing, recovery industry

Premium heavy-duty trailer manufacturer Kalyn Siebert recently formed a new partnership with Purpose Wrecker, a provider of top-quality tow trucks, carriers and heavy-duty wreckers for the towing and recovery industry.

“Purpose Wrecker is led by industry experts and enthusiasts who provide the highest levels of service to their customers,” said Jake Radish, president of Kalyn Siebert. “Their dedication to the industry and to growing their business is right in step with our company. This new partnership will be instrumental in continuing to grow the Kalyn Siebert brand to towing and recovery customers around the country.”

Purpose Wrecker maintains a large inventory of 200 units on 10 acres, selling heavy-duty wreckers, tow trucks, rollback carriers and trailers both in-person and online to customers throughout the US. The company’s headquarters features a 15-bay service center/shop located on 4.5 acres. Its Wright City facility is situated on 5.5 acres and includes an 8-bay install center/shop.

In the fall of 2020, the company plans to add another 10 acres and 12 full-size truck bays. In addition to sales and service, Purpose maintains an expansive parts department.

“We did our homework when choosing a heavy-duty trailer line to offer our customers,” said Ken Malpocker, owner of Purpose Wrecker. “In all our research, we heard great things about Kalyn Siebert.” Purpose Wrecker was founded in 1981 by Malpocker and his wife, Sue, in Wentzville, Missouri, just outside St. Louis.

“Andy Malpocker has been actively running Purpose since 2011 and will assume ownership of the company in 2020. Previously, he was a parts and service manager at various MHC Kenworth dealerships from 2008 to 2012.

Purpose Wrecker plans to sell 100 Kalyn Siebert trailers per year. With a large inventory, highly trained and experienced sales team, and strong service after the sale, the company looks to continue growing into the future.

“The VersaMAXX trailer, as well as the slide axle and hydraulic removable gooseneck trailers from Kalyn Siebert, set the standard in the industry,” Andy Malpocker said. “It’s the best bus trailer you can buy and is currently our number-one-selling trailer. And Kalyn Siebert’s quick turn on orders means we can get our customers the trailers they need, when they need them.”
