Crossroads Trailer has acquired Northcutt Inc., a trailer parts, service, rental and sales company serving customers since 1965 in Wichita and Garden City, Kan.
Northcutt will join Crossroads Trailer's growing portfolio: The dealer recently built a new Denver, Colo., facility to supplement its locations in Albert Lea, Minn., Sioux Falls, S.D., and Luverne, Minn.
Crossroads leaders say Northcutt shares the company’s dedication to its employees and customers, and they say the acquisition will be a great addition to the Crossroads family, adding depth and breadth to its product offerings.
“We are very pleased to increase our reach in Kansas and the surrounding region to elevate our offerings for our customers and deliver real value throughout the Midwest,” said Crossroads Trailer President Mark Habben.
Northcutt’s team of more than 30 employees will become part of the Crossroads Trailer family, which the company says they hope to grow as they expand operations in the Kansas locations.
“Since the early days of the company, we have seen the industry develop and change, but the one thing that remains consistent is our commitment to provide each customer with the same respect and high-quality service,” Habben added.
Founded in 1986, Crossroads Trailer is headquartered in Minnesota and is one the largest semi-trailer and refrigeration unit dealers in its region.
Crossroads was founded as a family business and is still owned and operated locally with the same values and visions of its founders. Over the years, Crossroads has represented several different product lines, and is a premier distributor of Great Dane trailers and transportation solutions—earning Dealer of the Year Awards in 2018 and 2019.

Northcutt’s locations feature 13 full-service bays along with a 63 ft. paint bay, which will add to the level of services available in the Crossroads Trailer network.
