NTEA-backed Vehicle Innovation Act re-introduced in House

Representative Debbie Dingell (D-MI) reintroduced the Vehicle Innovation Act (HR 4050). This is companion legislation to S.1225 introduced by Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) earlier in the year.

This legislation, supported by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), would provide approximately $1.7 billion over the next five years for research into advanced vehicle fuel efficiency technologies.

Much of the funding would be directed at vocational trucks.
