Two family-owned suppliers of truck body and trailer flooring have joined forces, effective January 1.

Angelina Hardwood Sales of Lufkin, Texas, was formed in 1947 and has been part of the George Henderson family ever since.  Angelina’s current president George “Trey” Henderson will become a member of the OHC management team.

“The two companies have been friendly competitors since OHC started in 1967,” says Lee Robinson, Jr OHC president.  “Angelina’s focus on service to its customers, honesty, integrity, and fairness are principles that fit squarely with OHC’s approach to business.”

With its manufacturing base in east Texas, Angelina Harwood Sales’ addition also moves OHC’s manufacturing base deeper into the fast-growing Texas and Louisiana markets.  The two companies will now have manufacturing facilities in Stockton, Alabama, and Lufkin, Texas, sales offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lufkin, Texas and Mobile, Alabama.

The companies will operate their subsidiary  Timbertown Austin in Austin, Texas with their partner Steve Anthony.  The companies will continue to serve the transportation industry but will also seek to expand their import and manufacture of High Performance Lumber Hardwood Lumber products for the homebuilding and commercial construction sectors, utility distribution industries as well to focus on growth opportunities in U.S. manufacturing.
