Koike Aronson/Ransome Inc., a manufacturer of cutting and positioning equipment for the metalworking industry, has finished installation of a new five-axis Sachman PX 120 machining center at its Arcade NY facility.

The new center's large capacity will shorten lead times for buyers of Koike equipment, and its accuracy, comparable to a CMM of the same size, will improve quality. The PX 120 has five axis heads and a continuous rotary table, which allow machining at any angle and on as many as five sides of a part in one setup. Koike will also make the new machining center available to other manufacturers in western New York for contract work.
