Manus Products, which develops and manufactures solutions for the adhesive, sealant and coating needs of the truck and trailer industries, is expanding its Flex-Weld all-purpose, hybrid-epoxy product line with Flex-Weld 90.
The company’s newest epoxy recently hit the market, building on 10 years of success with previous products, including Flex-Weld 5, 15, 15 Non-Sag and 25.
Manus said Flex-Weld provides “excellent” tensile, peel and shear strength, and it’s light-stable and “highly” UV resistant. Flex-Weld exhibits reliable adhesion and flexibility with a wide variety of substrates, including ceramics, concrete, wood, composites, FRP and most metals, without the use of a primer.
At a 1:1 volume mix ratio, Flex-Weld is user-friendly and forgiving, Manus said. Flex-Weld outperforms brittle two-component systems by retaining high peel strength and flexibility through a wide temperature range.
Manus is an ISO 9001 certified company that launched the first hybrid polymer product (Manus-Bond 75-AM) in the US more than 20 years ago.
