In the trailer manufacturing industry, a successful business is dependent upon an educated, highly skilled workforce.
Does your company have the necessary tools to keep up with the demanding job market? The answer lies in workforce development—a necessity for both employees and businesses to remain competitive, particularly in today’s economy.
To help manufacturer’s develop their workforce, the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) is hosting a three-part winter webinar series in November.
The three-day series kicks off Nov 19 with “Improve Employee Retention: Create, Connect, Cultivate” featuring Leressa Suber, evaluation coordinator for North Carolina State’s Industry Expansion Solutions.
The series continues Nov 20 with “Fighting the War for Talent—Here’s how to win!” with David Hollars, executive director for the Centralina Workforce Development Board, and “Recruitment Strategies: Attracting Talent in Today’s Economy” with Veronica Grantham, regional operations director for the North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Division of Workforce Solutions; and concludes Nov 21 with “Data Tracking & Reporting from the Shop Floor” led by Chris Shadbolt, a senior sales executive at Genius ERP, and “Engaging Existing Resources for Your Business” featuring Terry Jones, NATM’s compliance director.
The webinars, addressing workplace culture, recruiting, retention, productivity and local resource utilization, respectively, begin at 2 pm CST each day.
