FleetPride continues to grow and expand.
In the latest moves for the aftermarket truck and trailer parts distributor based in Irving TX, FleetPride opened a new branch in Tampa FL and acquired the assets of Albert’s Truck Service & Supply of Weatherford OK.
The company said its new Tampa location will allow it to better serve customers in the Tampa Bay area.
“FleetPride has a long history in Florida with multiple branches, including Tampa,” said Mike Harris, FleetPride’s senior vice president of sales and branch operations. “Customers have been asking us to expand in Tampa as the traffic patterns have made delivery times longer.
“We feel confident about adding a second branch in the market, given the local talented workforce and how strong our team is in the nearby existing FleetPride location.”
FleetPride said the location in West Tampa will include a full offering of fast-moving maintenance parts, in addition to repair parts like radiators, charge air coolers and engine components, and leverage the ability of a large driveline shop in the area.
An official grand opening is planned for later this year.
“The Tampa market receives overnight replenishment five days a week from our regional distribution center in Atlanta, and the ability to bring inventory to the market on a daily basis sets us apart from the competition,” Harris said.
Albert’s Truck Service was founded in 1972 by Albert Seibold Sr, and currently is owned by Albert Seibold Jr and Lisa Seibold. Their son, Austin, will remain on board to manage day-to-day operations moving forward, FleetPride said.
“Bo and Lisa have built a great business with a strong team in Weatherford,” Harris said. “Albert’s Truck Service & Supply has a great reputation and will become one of FleetPride’s largest service centers. This is a great addition to our company and complements our three existing parts and service locations in Oklahoma City nearby.
“We're looking forward to working with Austin Seibold and the new team, who bring a wealth of industry knowledge and service expertise.”
FleetPride also recently announced the opening of a new greenfield location in Vancouver WA as part of its ongoing expansion efforts.
“Rapid expansion of branch locations is a key element of our growth strategy moving forward,” Harris said. “We believe a larger footprint allows FleetPride to serve parts customers faster, while we also expand the number of technicians and service bays to help keep customers’ trucks on the road.
“We expect to roll out many more greenfields and great acquisitions throughout the remainder of 2019.”
