Paccar Parts opened an 80,000-sq.-ft. Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Bogotá, Colombia. The facility increases parts availability for dealers and customers in Colombia, with same-day delivery in Bogotá and overnight delivery in many other areas of the country.
“The opening of the Bogota PDC underscores PACCAR Parts’ commitment to world-class parts distribution and service,” said Laura Bloch, PACCAR Parts general manager and PACCAR vice president. “The new facility reduces transport lead time and provides greater access to parts at dealer locations throughout Colombia.”
The new distribution center has the capacity to store up to 30,000 parts and serves 20 dealerships throughout Colombia. The Bogotá facility is the latest addition to PACCAR Parts’ global distribution network, which includes 19 PDCs encompassing 3.5 million sq. ft. of warehouse space.
