New Life Transport Parts expands in response to supply chain pressures

The new facility will handle trailer industry-specific parts that are long, and difficult to manage without damage

New Life Transport Parts has secured an additional 175,000 square feet to meet the needs of the fast-growing truck and trailer replacement parts business. The new facility increases the products and quantity of parts that can be distributed by New Life, according to the HTI subsidiary.

The pandemic has changed the buying habits of consumers, requiring changes in the retail and distribution model.  One of those changes has resulted in an increased demand for trailers.  The availability of these parts and the timeliness that they can be delivered are crucial to keeping as many trailers on the road as possible.

The new facility will handle parts that are long, and difficult to manage without damage. They are specifically for the trailer industry and are needed to keep as many trailers on the road as possible, New Life suggests.

In addition to more part storage and handling capability, New Life Transport Parts was able to expand their transportation department into the new facility and utilize the proximity to key transportation partners for further benefit.

The new facility employs an additional 20 employees to further complete the expanded capabilities.

“We want to thank New Life customers for their support and trust in New Life Transport Parts to be their trailer parts partner,” Dan Millar, New Life president and COO, said.  “New Life is committed to serving those partners for the long term and this facility is our investment to serve our partner’s needs.”
