AMBAC International rebranded its aftermarket division, AMBAC Aftermarket, to Zillion Heavy Duty Parts as of Jan. 1, 2024. Later in the year, AMBAC International hopes to make the rebranded division a fully independent, stand-alone company.
To facilitate this transition, AMBAC International formed a strategic partnership with the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation in the form of a joint venture.
“Our commitment to domestic manufacturing, which includes manufacturing for the United States and Allied Defense Sector through our Department of Defense division, requires a focused strategy,” said Robert Isherwood, CEO of AMBAC International. “Partnering with the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation has allowed us to position our aftermarket division as a stand-alone company in 2024, giving AMBAC International the ability to focus on its manufacturing roots.”
Zillion Heavy Duty Parts will continue to provide fuel-related parts such as injectors, pumps, and fuel accessories. However, it will also now offer aftertreatment and “under-the-hood-bolt-on parts” such as oil pans.
“The expansion of the product portfolio at Zillion is critical for the long-term success of this division,” said Scott Boltz, director of consulting services at the Heavy Duty Consulting Corporation. “Heavy-duty parts distributors are looking for suppliers who can provide them with a wide range of products with inventory available to ship when needed.”
As part of its debut, Zillion Heavy Duty Parts exhibited at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Grapevine, Texas, January 22-25, 2024, to network with distributors and display the new products that are now available from Zillion.
