VIPAR Heavy Duty employees continued their tradition of charitable giving in 2019.
Their efforts included fulfilling the holiday wish lists of more than 30 children through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Rockford IL, and a donation that helped provide a holiday party for the program’s children.
In October, VIPAR’s IMPACT Memorial Golf Tournament, held during the company’s 2019 IMPACT Conference, raised money to help support the Wyakin Foundation. Several VIPAR Heavy Duty suppliers also established a relationship with the foundation, donating a portion of their conference order proceeds.
Collectively, VIPAR Heavy Duty says it network donated more than $73,000 to the Wyakin Foundation through efforts at the 2019 IMPACT Conference. The Wyakin Foundation provides support for military veterans who are transitioning from the battlefield to the civilian workforce.
“Far too many of our veterans experience overwhelming challenges upon returning home, and our valued partnership with VIPAR Heavy Duty is helping us reverse that trend,” said Brent Taylor, president and CEO of the Wyakin Foundation. “Through their support at the IMPACT Conference, VIPAR Heavy Duty and its distributors, suppliers and aftermarket industry associates answered the call to serve those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

VIPAR also supported the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and its local Crystal Lake community throughout the year.
