HDAW 'goes big' for final Texas fandango

Big Trucks. Big Business. Big Celebration: The theme reflects the scale of opportunities in today's heavy duty aftermarket while recognizing the relationships, partnerships and business growth the event has fostered over its twenty-one-year history

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, billed as the largest gathering of heavy-duty aftermarket professionals in North America, has opened registration for its 2027 conference, taking place Jan. 18-21 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

As HDAW prepares for its final year in its long-held location before entering a new chapter in 2028, this year's theme—Big Trucks. Big Business. Big Celebration.—is meant to reflect the scale of opportunities in today's heavy duty aftermarket while recognizing the relationships, partnerships and business growth the event has fostered over its twenty-one-year history.

Leading HDAW's milestone 2027 event are supplier co-chair Houman "HK" Kashanipour, president & CEO of Alliant Power, and distributor co-chair Tim Grabow, president of Blaine Brothers Family of Companies.

“HDAW has always been where this industry comes to make important business decisions," said HK. "As we celebrate our final event in Grapevine, we're bringing together even bigger opportunities to strengthen partnerships, discover new products and solutions, and set the course for the year ahead. It's the kind of momentum that sustains businesses long after the event ends."

HDAW'27 will once again center on the experiences that keep attendees returning year after year, including the industry's signature One-on-One Business Meetings Program, where distributors and suppliers strengthen partnerships and plan for the year ahead, face to face. The Product Expo is already on pace to sell out, reinforcing HDAW's position as the aftermarket’s destination for discovering the latest products, tools and technologies. Attendees will also have access to an engaging keynote session, an insights and awards session, breakfast and lunch, and multiple networking events each day.

“HDAW’27 is about more than celebrating a milestone," said Grabow. "The heavy duty aftermarket is entering a period of exciting change — change that’s creating new opportunities for the businesses ready to build the right partnerships, embrace new ways of doing things and stay ahead of the market. HDAW has always helped make that possible, and our final year in Grapevine is the perfect time to honor that legacy while looking ahead to what's next.”
