Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment has opened a new Ford Transit Connect ship-through facility to service the southeast regional market.
The new location is Dejana’s second Transit Connect ship-through location and is located near the port in Jacksonville, FL (Ford Ship-Thru Code 31J).
The new location is designed to reduce the in-transit time of Transit Connects to Ford dealerships and provide faster delivery to end-users. Both Ford and Dejana can significantly improve the delivery time of the popular Transit Connects with the addition of the second ship-through location in Jacksonville, FL. The Jacksonville location will mirror the Baltimore operation, having the ability to install interior packages from a variety of suppliers, as well as custom fleet work. Also for the first time it will provide ship-through capability to Ford dealers in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
