Panel set for HDAD 'real world' aftermarket chat

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, the commercial vehicle division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association, and MacKay & Company will present “Let’s Rap: A Real-World View of the Aftermarket” at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue on Monday, January 24, 2022. The session will bring together industry leaders across segments and products, focusing the discussion on current business conditions, market disrupters, and innovations changing the market's landscape. Topics will include:

  • Insights into short- and long-term challenges and opportunities in the aftermarket
  • How the aftermarket structure and function will transform with new vehicle and business technology
  • Intuitions pertaining to supplier consolidations, and the every-changing complexities in componentry optimization
  • Management of supply chain bottlenecks and the resulting topsy-turvy OEM production schedules
  • Digital transformation and its impact on customer retention, service, sales, and support

The panel will be moderated by Chris Patterson, consultant and former DTNA CEO and Volvo executive. Panelists include:
